"Dress Up Clothes"

Josh doesn't get dressed up. He wears hiking pants, jeans, t-shirts and the occassional polo shirt. "Dress up clothes are too restricting" he says. I've tried for a year to get him a pair of khaki pants, to which he protests and always wins.

He has one suit that he got for an interview 3 years ago, and one pair of slacks that I got him for Robyn & Brian's wedding last October. But he never wears either one. Except on REALLY special occassions - like weddings and funerals - and he still complains the whole time.

However, he is helping out at a civilian company this week where professional clothes are required. This may turn into a 2-week thing, or even longer. Either way, he needed more than 2 outfits to wear to work.

So, off to Banana Republic Outlet we went! I was super excited. Josh notsomuch. He did really well though, and we left with 3 pairs of slacks, a belt, 4 shirts, and a pair of shoes.

And here's our result - his first day of the new job in his brand-spanking-new "dress up clothes." He may be smiling, but I guarantee you he wasn't happy about it.

Doesn't he look handsome?? I could get used to this. =)
